- There are 25 confirmed participants, leaving room for 5 more entrants.  This does not, however, mean there will be 5 major surprise entrants, as superstars like John Morrison and Drew McIntyre may be in the match.

- As of last word, WWE's plan is to have Triple H win the Royal Rumble and go on the WrestleMania XXVI to face Sheamus for the WWE Championship.
