Matt Hardy and Gregory Helms Rumor, TNA to Monday Nights, ECW Rating, Shane McMahon Update, Jeff Hardy Update
- While nothing is confirmed, there is a rumor going around that Matt Hardy and Gregory Helms may be looking to move to TNA Wrestling.
- TNA officials are said to be extremely happy about Monday's 1.5 cable rating. TNA is now seriously contemplating a permanent move to Monday nights to go head-to-head with Raw every week. Both Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff are changing the company and one thing they very much want is for iMPACT to run head-to-head with Raw.
- The January 5, 2010 edition of ECW drew a .9 cable rating.
- Dana White recently confirmed that Shane McMahon was interested in doing consultant work for UFC, however he did into know if they could make a deal. Shane is also said to be interested in Strikeforce, another MMA promotion.
- Contradicting an earlier report, another report has surfaced stating that Jeff Hardy did not violate the WWE wellness policy for the third time and simply took a break because he wanted to. According to this report, Hardy told WWE he would be returning after his break. Because of this, WWE officials were surprised to see Hardy debut with TNA on January 4, 2010. Which of the two reports is the correct report is unknown.
