Major Jeff Hardy News, Legacy Breakup Spoiler, ECW Rating, Shane McMahon, Tommy Dreamer Released, WWE Superstars Rating, Divas Championship Update, WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony, Bryan Danielson Debuts in WWE, Melina Injury Update

- It is now confirmed that Jeff Hardy failed his third drug test weeks before he left WWE.  Rather than releasing him, WWE let him run out the little bit of his contract he had left and kept his third violation private.  This puts to rest all rumors of Jeff Hardy returning to WWE within the next year, as when someone violates the wellness policy for the third time, they cannot be re-hired in less than one year.  Jeff Hardy also signed with TNA Wrestling recently.  On top of that, a grand jury in North Carolina indicted Hardy on drug charges.  The case has been sent to the Superior Court, and according to a spokesman with the Moore County Court, the case should be on the docket in one week.

- WWE put a feature up on their website counting down the 10 superstars most likely to win a championship in 2010.  Number 5 is Ted DiBiase, and in his caption it says "Without Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes at his side", which seems to indicate a Legacy breakup.

- The December 29, 2009 edition of ECW drew a .9 cable rating.

- Shane McMahon is officially gone from WWE, as of January 1, 2010.  Shane McMahon is rumored to be interested in getting into the MMA business.

- WWE released Tommy Dreamer on January 4, 2010.  You can read WWE's statement at this link.

- The December 31, 2009 edition of WWE Superstars drew a .7 cable rating.

- Due to Melina's torn ACL, WWE has vacated the Divas Championships.  To determine the new champion, an 8 round tournament with be held.  The current plan is for Maryse to win the Divas Championship.

- Ticket for the 2010 WWE Hall of Famer Induction Ceremony go on sale on January 16, 2010. 

- Bryan Danielson made his WWE debut on January 4, 2010 when he wrestled in the dark match before Monday Night Raw.  Danielson defeated Chavo Guerrero.

- WWE posted on their official website that Melina will out for 6 months due to her torn ACL.
