Jim Ross Signs Contract Extension with WWE, Edge Update, Booker T Update, ROH Wrestlers Tryout for WWE, Ric Flair/TNA Update, Legit Heat Between Vince McMahon and Dennis Miller

- Jim Ross announced on his website that he has signed an extension on his WWE contract for "a few months" to allow him to heal from his Bells Palsy attack.  He says he doesn't expect to be on the road until march 2010 at the earliest, however he hopes to be back before WrestleMania 26 on March 28, 2010.

- Edge was on the Bubba the Love Sponge radio show on December 17, 2009.  In the interview he revealed that his WWE contract expired in October 2009, however was extended due to the time he missed with his torn Achilles Tendon.  He also says he has been doing therapy in Tampa, Florida under the care of Dr. James Andrew.  About his return he said the doctors initially told him he would be out for 6 months to a year, and he hopes to be back in the first quarter of 2010.

- The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Booker T has plans to return to WWE in 2010.  Reportedly he has been telling friends he has already signed with WWE and that he will be on Raw when he returns.  Reportedly he has also been telling people he will be returning at the Royal Rumble, which is on January 31, 2010.

- Mark and Jay Briscoe have been at Florida Championship Wrestling this past week trying out for WWE.  Rhett Titus also has a tryout with WWE recently.

- The Wrestling Observer is reporting that former WWE Superstar Ric Flair is very close to signing a deal with TNA Wrestling.  Reportedly, Flair wants a direct contract with Panda Energy, not TNA, in case TNA folds.  The difference being, if Flair is signed with Panda Energy and TNA folds, Flair would receive any money owned to him in his contract on time.

- Reportedly, there was some legit heat between Vince McMahon and Raw guest host Dennis Miller.  The reasons being, Miller was late to the arena, and Vince McMahon really did give Miller some comedy tips for his segments and he brought it up during one of his segments, which was not in the script.  WWE officials were also unhappy about how Miller did not connect with the live crowd.
