WWE Referee Injured, WWE Superstars Rating, Raw Rating, Briscoe Brothers Update, Rey Mysterio Injured, Lauren Mayhew Leaves WWE, Smackdown! Main Event, Jim Ross Return Update, Chris Jericho Interview, Jim Ross Blogs

- WWE referee Scott Armstrong suffered a concision at Survivor Series on November 22, 2009.  Armstrong was accidentally kneed by Sheamus in the head and was unable to finish the match. 

- The November 19, 2009 edition of WWE Superstars drew a 1.0 cable rating.

- The three hour edition of Monday Night Raw on November 23, 2009 drew a 3.2 rating.  The two hour timeslot Raw usually airs in drew a 3.55.

- As reported earlier, ROH wrestlers the Briscoe Brothers had a tryout match with WWE recently.  WWE has called them back to be evaluated more.

- Rey Mysterio injured his ACL, a ligament in the knee.  WWE had Batista demolish Mysterio at Survivor Series to write Mysterio off TV and Rey did not suffer the injury that match.  Rey is planning to undergo minor surgery to fix the problem for now, however will need to have surgery on it again in time.  WWE is hoping to have Mysterio back for the Royal Rumble.

- WWE has parted ways with their new ring announcer Lauren Mayhew. Mayhew's short term contract expired and they could not come to terms on a long term deal.

- The main event of Friday Night Smackdown on November 27, 2009 will be Batista vs. Kane.

- Jerry Lawler said in a recent interview with the UK Sun about Jim Ross "There's a strong possibility WrestleMania could be when he makes his return."  You can read the entire interview at this link.
