On the November 1, 2010, Joe and I, Nick, attended Monday Night Raw. I have to say, this Raw was very good but there was no pyro. The reason is unknown. Raw starts with Randy Orton coming to the ring saying that no man alive could take the title from him. He also mentions that he wouldn't be happy especially if there was a crooked referee like John Cena. Randy seems very serious at this point but he mentions that if John Cena would intentionally make Barrett win, he thinks that John Cena should be man enough to say it to his face. From here, Cena comes into the ring and it's just a heated argument from there.
The first match is Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater vs. David Hart Smith and Tyson Kidd. There isn't much to say about this match because it's an average match. The only note is that I'm shocked that Heath Slater and Justin Ganriel win the match.
Sheamus comes out and starts off by talking about Santino. He says that Santino didn't beat him, but Sheamus beat himself. Personally, I think that it makes him look like a fool, but that's just my opinion. Santino comes out with an excuse that the doctor told him that he may throw up if he wrestles. Santino did find a replacement, which turned out to be Vladimir Kozlov. The match is under way and quite interesting. At the end of the match, I'm not surprised that Sheamus won.
The next match is Zack Ryder vs. Ezekiel Jackson. There's not a ton to say here, but this match was fun to watch. The winner was Ezekiel Jackson.
Next, Pee Wee Herman comes out to the ring all happy and joyful. Pee Wee explains that he is totally feeling "raw" and that the secret word is "Ring". The Miz comes out, interrupting Pee Wee. The Miz starts talking as usual and soon tells him to get out of his ring. This triggered the secret word, which Miz doesn't know about, so he keeps on telling him the same thing a few times. Pee Wee gets the crowd laughing at the word 'Ring" whenever Miz says it. Shortly after, The Miz starts to annoy Pee Wee. Pee Wee warns the Miz, but Pee Wee decides to bring out his cousin. His cousin is the Big Show, who is dressed like Pee Wee also. Big Show throws Miz out of the ring and Pee Wee triggers the magic word, "Ring", once again.
After the commercial, the next match is the Big Show vs. The Miz. This was a pretty good match, but had an ending that bothered me. The ending was The Miz hitting Big Show with the briefcase when the referee was looking, therefore, Big Show won by DQ. After a good match, they decide to end it in a DQ. I really don't like that ending, but at least the match itself was good.
The following match is Ted DiBiase vs. Daniel Bryan. Another obvious match, but still good. The winner was Daniel Bryan via submission when he locked in the LeBell Lock.
Match number six is a divas match, Natalya vs. Michelle McCool. This match went by quick, but with a shocking ending. The ending was clean, but I can't believe that Natalya won. I'm surprised that they'd have Natalya win against Michelle McCool with Layla in her corner. I'm ok with her winning, but I'm just shocked.
After the commercial, Vince McMahon is in a coma and is out of it when the doctor mentions that Linda spent $50 Million dollars on her compaign. Vince says that he hates politics and that as long as everything in WWE is ok, he is ok. Then the doctor starts to tell Vince all of the things that upset him, which results in Vince saying that if his wife can run for Senate, he can run for President.
The last match of the night was David Otunga and Wade Barrett vs. R-Truth and Randy Orton with guest referee John Cena. This tag team match was really good, just as predicted. It was a very good match and the end was predictable. The ending was Randy Orton hitting an RKO on Otunga and R-Truth getting the 3 count. After the match, Wade Barrett yells at John Cena for doing his job and the show ends with cena on the ramp.
Overall, this was a very good Raw, especially with the comedy segment with Pee Wee Herman.
