Before I start, let me just explain what this is. Some of you may remeber these "WrestleMania SuperBlogs" from last year, but for those of you that don't know, it's just a big blog with all my thoughts and predictions for WrestleMania. As storylines progress I will be posting more of these, hence this one being named number 1.
Ok, so Raw was pretty, "eventful", announcing four WrestleMania matches. I obviously am not going to go into great detail, being that WrestleMania is still 5 weeks away.
First match announced was Chris Jericho vs. Edge for the World Heavyweight Championship. Regardless of how the storyline progresses, the match should be good. Chris Jericho and Edge both are very seasoned veterans in their prime, and really two of the best in-ring guys in WWE, and I really am looking forward to this match. Not making any predictions here yet, still way too early/
Then we have Money in the Bank, but as of now, only Christian has qualified. Not much to say, obviously because only one guy has been announced, but MITB is always a great match.
Next is Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels: Career vs. Streak match. Now, I have been opposed to them doing this match, but I am actually REALLY looking forward to it this year. Last year, it was flat out just a great match. This year with the added stipulation, it almost like saying "History will be made". Is it possible that HBK looses then comes back in August, yes, I would like to think it won't, but it is possible, so we'll see.
Then we have Batista vs. John Cena for the WWE Title. Should be good match. I wouldn't be suprised to see McMahon is Batista's corner and Bret Hart to be in Cena's corner, so we'll see about that. Throwing the WWE title in the mix is a debatable move, I personally don't think it was the right move and Cena vs. Batista would have been better as a non-title match because it looks like Triple H vs. Sheamus will be a non-title match which doesn't peak my interest at all.
