It's about time. I'm not a huge TNA guy, thats why WrestleSlam is all WWE news, but I have always been a huge fan of Consequences Creed. His in-ring ability is really great, he is just such an athletic wrestler, I like the move he does where he throws his face into the mat and throws up all over Amazing Red.
All joking aside, though, I really do think he has great potential. I'm not a huge fan of his "Apollo Creed" gimmick, but the gimmick can be changed, and I ...

As I'm sure most of you have figured out by now, I did go to the WWE Supershow on June 19 at Madison Square Garden, so my live report is below.
The show opens with Kofi Kingston vs. Drew McIntyre for the Intercontinental Championship, which suprised me and turned out to be a very, very good match. Kingston, of course, retained his IC title. After the match, though, Matt Hardy ran in and attacked McIntyre, and was chased out by some referees.

I do not remember the last time a story about wrestling was accuratly covered by a "real" news website. No, I am not saying that wrestling sites are not real news, but sites like SI.com, or TMZ.com, or CNN.com are much more oriented on sports like baseball and football, not wrestling. And when they do cover wrestling, the article are always just really, really bad.
Today India-Server.com posted what has to be the least researched, horribly done article in th...

We are currently experimenting with some new ads on the site, so you may be experiencing longer load times, but it's all temporary and we hope to have everything set with the new ads in about two weeks. Thanks for your patience, not only with this, but the SlamTalk wait, and all the stuff going on over the past 5 months. the goal is the be 100% back on track by July. News and blog will continue and the only two remaining things we are working out are the ads and SlamTalk.

I do like Michael Cole, but he makes mistake after mistake after mistake. At Over the Limit he said Cena never tapped out in his career, Cena tapped out to Kurt Angle at No Mercy 2003 and to Chris Benoit on Smackdown! , but I'm not sure of the exact date. In the words of Gregory Helms, "I'm just sayin'"

So, finally, after quite some time, I am back with my PPV blogs.
Tonight is WWE's first Over the Limit PPV, and I have to say, the card looks pretty good. Not a great card, but good, a nice solid card.
First we have Ted DiBiase vs. R-Truth. I like this little feud they have going on with these two. It's a nice way to kick off Ted DiBiase's new gimmick as the "Million Dollar Man", like his father. My guess is that R-Truth s just being...

So, WWE just released 7 wrestlers, which is a ton of guys to release in one shot. Shelton Benjamin, Jimmy Wang Yang, Kung Fu Naki, Mike Knox, Slam Master J, Mickie James, and Katie Lea Burchill.
Shelton Benjamin - To me, this one is the most suprising. It really is ashame, he is such an amazing athlete, but he was just never able to get over with the crowd as a heel or face. Even though he was never all that over with the crowd, though, ...

Dixie Carter said in an online Q&A that "sometimes you need to take a step back to take a big step forward." Now she said a lot in the Q&A, but that one sentence caught my eye. Sure, sometimes a step back leds to a jump forward, but other (and most) times, a step back leds to more steps back and before you know it you've stepped all the way back to airing iMPACT online.
No, I am not saying iMPACT is going to completely fail, but it bothers me how many TNA fans think ...

So, I thought my weekend was over, but at the airport I saw both Sgt. Slaughter and Cody Rhodes, not together. Sgt. Slaughter was easting at Einstein Bagels and Rhodes was going through security. Also, just a side note, seeing Rhodes is a little more noteworthy than Sgt. Salughter because Rhodes was "injured" at WrestleMania when Orton punted him, so it was funny to see him walking through security.

So, my WrestleMania weekend is over now, as Raw was the last event.
First they taped Kofi Kingston and MVP vs. Zack Ryder and Carlito, which Kingston and MVP won. They also taped Yoshi Tatsu vs. William Regal, which Tatsu won.
Then they moved onto Monday Night Raw.
The show opens with Batista who draws "You Tapped Out" chants the whole time he was talking and making his entrance. John Cena came out to a huge pop, and for the first time I've even heard, no bo...

I don't know who watched WrestleMania and who didn't, but if you didn't, you really should order the replay or get the DVD when it comes out, because I really do think it was a great show, the only bad thing about it was that the matches were all pretty short.
First was the dark match, which a giant Battle Royal with practically everyone not on the WrestleMania card. It was really just a lot of punching and stuff. The whole crowd was really behind Santino the whole matc...

So, I went to the night AXXESS session on March 27, which was the last of 3 AXXESS events that day. It was pretty good, they had a live match, which was Mike Knox vs. Kung Fu Naki, they had a bunch fo people signing autographs, but the best part was all the NXT rookies. If one of them were to do an autpgraph signing by themselves, it wouldn'y be too special, but for the seond half of AXXESS they brought out all the NXT rookies, stationed them throughout the convention center and t...

It was a very nice event. The only part that could have been better was the dress code. They had been advertising the dress code, but they didn't turn anyone down at the door, which I though they would be doing. Before the event started, they had a special entrance for the current superstars, who all came in and took their seats up front. Jerry Lawler began the night as the host and they just plugged right along with the inductees. First was Mad Dog Vachon who wa...

The Morning Madness Autograph Session was something exclusivly for people with the travel packages. The Silver, Gold, and Platinum each had a different session right in their hotels. I don't know who did the Silver or Gold, but the Platinum was Kane and Michelle McCool. I have to say, it went very smoothly. They actually started a bit early, and they line was moving at a nice pace, not too slow, but not rushing anyone. Kane actually had a black eye, which I...

It was alright. It was cool, meeting Shelton Benjamin, Vladimir Kozlov, Santino Marella, the Hart Dynasty, Cody Rhodes was very cool, it was like 8 autograph signings in one. And there a a bunch of other guys I did't even get to meet who were also there. Christian was there and BY FAR had the longest line, and being that I had already met Christian back in November, and there were other things to do, I didn't bother with that. Santino Marella also had a HUGE line, but ...

Ok, so I was going to post my first live report on Friday after the AXXESS event, but I just figured I would mention that Joey Styles was actually on my Delta flight going to Pheonix also. He was 3 rows behind me, in coach, nothing special. I mention this because one of the "general" questions I get asked a lot is how the Superstars travel, if they take a WWE plane, or bus, or something along those lines. The answer is that they travel to where they need to be on their own, ...

I'll be posting a blog in the next day or two about the actual event, but here I just want to tell all of you whats going on here on WrestleSlam around WrestleMania 26.
First we have SlamTalk's Pre-WrestleMania Special on March 20, 2010. It will be hosted by myself like always, and also Nick. I know we both have a ton to say, including predictions, and I think I have a match or two figured out, but it should be a great show, so you won't want to miss that. ...

So, first let me say I think this gimmick has run it's course it should be ended.
The next guest host we have is Chris Angel. Nothing special, not one of those guest hosts I'm excited about, but I'm not going to complain.
Then we have Stone Cold. Obviously I am VERY excited to see Stone Cold. This is probably the most excited I've been for a guest host and it is good to have a wrestler, not an actor who will botch lines. Wreslters kn...

Before I start, let me just explain what this is. Some of you may remeber these "WrestleMania SuperBlogs" from last year, but for those of you that don't know, it's just a big blog with all my thoughts and predictions for WrestleMania. As storylines progress I will be posting more of these, hence this one being named number 1.
Ok, so Raw was pretty, "eventful", announcing four WrestleMania matches. I obviously am not going to go in...

So, like I do for every PPV, I am writing my predictions here, butit seems like something is missing from this PPV. Then I realized what was missing, the whole freakin undercard. They have 4 matches for a 3 hour PPV? They had more matches for the Royal Rumble the main event ofthat was the Royal Rumble which took 50 minutes. Figure both Chambers combined will take up one hour, then the divas match which they shouldgive no more than 10 minutes to, then the IC title match...
