Best Male Superstar
- Must have been with WWE for at least one month of 2009
- Must be male

Best Female Superstar
- Must have been with WWE for at least one month of 2009
- Must be female

Best Tag Team
- Must have been teaming regularly for at least 3 months in 2009

Best Announcer
- Must have been announcing on Smackdown, Raw, and/or ECW for at least one month in 2009

Best Finisher/Signature Move
- Any finisher/signature move that a superstar uses or used in WWE in 2009 is eligible.

Best Match
- Any WWE match of 2009 is eligible
